A short story on Bridget Doolan
Told by John Telford:
I was told that my Great Grand mother Bridget Doolan, use to go to a well for water and cart it all the way to Burrumbeet road by hand.
To sell to travellor's just to make a few extra penny's.
One day Bridget came across an old deserted Chinese camp and found a small jar of aluvial gold which they had lost.
So she returned the lost jar of gold back to the chinese and in appreciation they would leave vegetable's on the front porch of her house.
